About Levitra
Before beginning of treatment of erectile dysfunction doctor should check the status of the cardiovascular system of the patient, because sexual activity is associated with a cardiac risk. In studies of the effect of Levitra (vardenafil) on the Q-T interval in 59 healthy male volunteers therapy (10 mg) and subtherapeutic (80 mg) doses of Levitra predetermined interval extension Q-T. The results of post-marketing studies that evaluated the effects of combinations of Levitra (vardenafil) with another drug, providing an equivalent effect on the interval Q-T, showed the cumulative effect on the Q-T interval combined drugs compared to their individual application. This should be considered when deciding on the appointment of Levitra (vardenafil) at patients with prolongation of the interval Q-T history or patients taking drugs prolong the interval Q-T. At patients with congenital prolonged Q-T interval, and patients taking anti-arrhythmic drugs class IA (quinidine, procainamide) or III (amiodarone, sotalol), it is not recommended to use the drug Levitra ODT.
